Bleach is tolerable for about 50 episodes...but you know...after watching two seasons of fluff and fillers I got tired of it. Have fun.

I quit watching this around episode 81. The Bount Arc made it just ridiculous.

I love BLEACH, but if it didn't have so many fillers, I'd love it anymore.
I'm glad that the latest season, so far, doesn't have so much of it.

Yah thats because the Bounto Arc comes in after that.
Once the Bounto Arc ends tho it goes back to the story line.

And it becomes extremely amazing the first episode after the bounto arc.

Well, the anime was about to catch up to the manga. This cannot happen during the production of any anime. The manga is always the leading edge of the story and the anime is always trailing behind. This should be obvious.

I'd say before the fillers started, about 10 weeks was all it would have taken to make the pass. That's why fillers began.

Another reason I love One Piece: they decided to not air filler, or at least not long-winded sections of filler. Instead, they air the show once every two weeks. One episode of any anime is always equal to two chapters of manga. Manga comes out weekly, so every two weeks there are two new chapters and one new episode. Parallel release schedules. They'll never have the manga/anime problem that plagues so many generic shounen anime out there.

Anyway, Bleach is cool. I skipped all of the Bounto arc. I've read the manga up to the current chapter and it only continues to become more and more amazing. I am a little annoyed at Kubo's story-telling techniques. They're redundant. Ever notice how every fight with Ichigo follows this formula?

1) Opponent appears
2) Ichigo faces off with it
3) Ichigo clearly cannot win
4) Someone saves him
5) Someone trains him up to be stronger
6) Ichigo returns and utterly destroys that opponent, but another, stronger opponent shows up
7) Ichigo loses and learns of his mistakes
8) Repeat.

For Bleach, there's a problem with the 2 manga chapters per episode. Kubo Tite draws way too many action only frames sometimes, meaning an entire chapter can could take only 5 minutes of the actual episode. Is it really necessary to dedicate 4 full pages in the manga every time Ichigo uses the same attack? This just wastes time in the anime because they have to drag out a <5 minute fight to a 10 minute one. But then again, what animes don't?

Bleach is alright. I was really into it when it first aired on [adult swim], but I don't care for it as much now.
