    Pump It Up PRO!

    So yeah, they have come out with a new Pump game but it's not exactly Pump It Up because some of the RoXoR staff is making it (ZOMFG) with songs from ITG and new songs comming out (including some awesome BanYa songs) this is something to look forward to (for the people who havn't played the game, like me)

    Whats your thoughts and oppinions on PIUPRO?

      I find it's rather sad. In my town we have like 2 PIU machines and and ITG machine. The thing is no on likes ITG here, and I honestly beleive that PIU's style is good enough and they shouldnt have to change it. Oh well were getting the NX upgrade soon ^^

                  If a machine pops up near me I'll give it a try. I've never played 5-panel before but from all the complaints from the PIU purists it sounds like the type of charts I enjoy.

                          PIU is so hard, but I think JBoy might be getting a machine so I'll convince one of my friends to bring me to his house.

                                  While you can play PiU on SM the games charm comes from playing on a metal pad and playing in it's own Timing Window. I have played the older PiU charts on SM but you really notice how off-sync they are. In PiU, since the TW will still count it as a PEFECT it's no big deal but on SM you notice it's up to a half beat off.

                                  That said, it's better to just play on a machine or play a fan's version of the steps. getting the songs in the first place, however, is freaking hard.

                                      I'm so jealous of you right now. I'm not even kidding. I've only played a Zero once (played for like 10 games total but w/e), and now he has a NX!!!!!! So amazingly jealous. I have a ton of exact copies for PIU, but... as lar said, its not the same if you're not on a machine.
