Our adventure begins immediately with a battle without warning. I quickly figure out the controls and start getting Legend of Zelda on the bitchass knight opponent.
But there's a problem.
At the bottom of the screen, there's this "70/88" in big text and when the knight hit me, it went down to "62/88". But when I hit the knight, it stayed at "62/88" and I'm like "oshi he's invincible, i guess im supposed to lose the match"
but after getting hit like five times, it suddenly hits me: "YOU ****ING RETARD THE 88 IS YOUR MAX HP NOT THE ENEMY HP"
And so catching his second breath, Felix makes an amazing comeback and owns the bitch with Link-like "skillz fo realz". Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee, motha****a.

cue cutscene and flashback and then another cutscene where this gayass "wizard" of some sort comes out of nowhere and defeats all the guards except me. So I go chase after the wizard and it's like "k you have control now go fight him"
The wizard's just standing there and Felix makes a ferocious lunge, only to hit nothing but air. He turns around to see the wizard on the other side of the hall. Felix cries, "WTF HAX" as he rushes the Wizard again, with the same results. Now Felix is quite perturbed. "You best get that ****-eating grin off your smugass face because YOU'RE REALLY STARTING TO PISS ME OFF." But then, unfortunately, he gets his ass super-kicked by two spells from the wizard, and our main hero passes out because he's such a weak ****ing pussy.

Hawk, Angela & Kevin ftw.

There's three different storylines in the game depending on who you choose as your characters. It also dictates which bosses you fight. If you choose Hawk, Angela and Kevin you fight the hardest bosses. I think you'll be fighting the second hardest boss since you still have Kevin and the cleric.

Kevin is the worst dresser ever. Like, on one hand he looks totally lame, but on the other hand when he goes Werewolf he jumps all the way up to "best looking sprite"

There are three final bosses/dungeons. The one you get is decided by which character you choose as your main. Duran/Angela get one, Kevin/Carlie get another one, and Hawkeye/Liesz get yet another one.

There is no definitive best team, but you'll always want Kevin or Carlie due to their healing abilities. Duran is always a solid choice as well. From there, it's down to personal preference - do you want Liesz, who's good all around, Hawkeye, who's... not that great, or Angela, who can own with magic?

By the way, Duran/Angela have the best final dungeon/boss. You also need to have chosen one of them in order to fight the Black Rabite, the uberboss of SD3.

Also, the best part of SD3 is by far the music. All of it is extremely, extremely good. That's not to say that the other parts are lacking - it is a very, very good game. Personally, I prefer SoM and LoM over it, but it's still great.

Hawk's third job as the Dark Dark (I forget its name) is good. His special attack as that job slaughters everything. His final boss is such a dick though, it's the Vampire along with the witch.

Seiken Densetsu 3 is one of the best games ever made.

My team was Duran, Kevin, and Angela. I don't remember what classes I made them. Duran was my healer, Kevin RAPED PEOPLE IN THE ASS, and Angela threw giant gobs of fire which did like 900 damage per cast.

Evil path Kevin is by far the most powerful guy in that entire game.

This makes me want to bust out my ZSNES again and play through it, but I just reinstalled Planescape: Torment so I'm already busy.

Next time I play the game, I'm putting Hawk in my team, because GOD KNOWS how important LUK is. Carlie--I mean, Healy is my LUK person right now.

I believe Hawk actually learns some skills through LUK. It doesn't stop it from being a horribly useless stat, however.

Getting crits just about every attack is hardly useless.

Critical hits don't matter when you can just chain cast everything to death instantly. 8)
