I think it's bold.
However, I highly disagree with calling it racism. Really, if anything this whole hushhush bulls hit about race promotes racism.
And I look forward to seeing this season of survivor XD
I don't think it needs to be this way. When I see this, I see a twist on competition, not 'black people vs white people' bulls hit.
I've seen comments like, oh but one race losing to another blah blah and they have to represent the whole race.
I think that's stupid. People lose to other people all the time. Really, get over it. That and, by no means do the people on survivor somehow represent an entire race.

It isn't racism. I don't see how classifying people into groups by race to play a game. I mean. They wouldn't do it if they were SURE it was racism. They could get in some big trouble. I can't see anything wrong with it. Everyone has an equal chance of winning. UNLESS, the african american team gets some big guy with the name of Maurice.

Its like I saw this kids drama program this morning, It had like every race, every one. It also had every disability in there. Also every race had there stereotypical religion. I think that feeling the need to actually put every race and difference in a show to avoid racism is actually racist itself. I think its stupid. Morrisons, a huge supermarket down town from me. It has like 100 odd staff and I've only ever seen one black guy working there. I didn't think that was racist at all. The Simpsons, all of them are yellow, apart from other race's which are there race colour, does that make the show The Simpsons racist? Do people complain there are no white people in the show? I don't know if anyone follows me but I didn't think Survivor was racist at all. I think it is more racist now it feels the need to have every different race in it. I swear one day, people will say that smarties are racist because there aren't any black ones.

My sister who is 3 loves that show and I can only recall maybe two episodes that weren't only mexicans, and i mean they took american folk tales and the characters were mexican!!!!!! So should i be making accusations of racism? no but i get pissed as im watching because the one white guy that was in an episode kept saying "where's my mommy?" and he was a grown man! case closed

So what? Mexican-Americans, a large demographic, shouldn't be allowed to have their own shows that cater towards their cultural experience and encourages racial and cultural torrence?Comment

not at all..im just saying if the media wants to call a show racist for having a lot of one race or maybe all one race...well then i just gave an example not that i personally need shows to have all white actors i could care less!
if they really wanted to create a show to teach cultural experience from a different country they should have their own stories in the show, because of the fact that every fairy tale/story etc has been an american folk taleComment

But the point is...there were just too many white people on that show. Currently, the going ratio of minorities to white people is 3/5's (for every five white people, there must be three minorities, preferably one Hispanic, one African, and one Asian.)Comment

i don't think that people should have to stress over something as "oh crap did we put enough minorities in this years season so that we won't get sued??" i think it should be selected from a computer or something so that people can't be targeted, and btw i live in las vegas and i am white....but i am now the minority to Hispanics in las vegas...yes that is right Hispanics make up the majority in Las Vegas now.Comment
