Why do people use retarded setups?
Just use the numberpad or arrow keys. Your setup does not make you better, it only makes you worse, or lets you cheat better.
It's even more retarded when people cheat and use 2 arrow key setups. (aswd and the arrow keys)Comment

I'm new here, and i'm not gonna say i'm good because I like to use two seperate sets for each hand while playing. Yes I used asdw and arrow keys for step mania but that's just because for some people using only one thing is a bit too much on their hand. I belive it's called capertunnel syndrome. (Yes i know i probally spelled it wrong) My point is, don't rag on everyone that uses that kind of set up. I do play FFR and try to use only the arrow keys. It's gonna take a while to get really good grades on the harder songs, but i'm getting there.

my laptop keyboard doesnt take the arrow keys very well, especially with down and up being pressed at the same time. It will stutter and then press them seperately whenever I do that and press right or left.
However, the "-, p, [, ]" keys can be pressed 3 at a time and have no problem, and if you notice they are in the exact same layout as the arrow keys.
soo yeah rebinding keys would be great!Comment

customizability is part of what makes stepmania great.. if some people prefer that way.. why not? if you can change the direction the arrows scroll, why not change what keys you press? =\Comment
