Yes. And show's fighting scenes are incredibly well choreographed.

I'd like to see them fight in a pit of oil, or gasoline. It'd be amusing.

One time my brother made me watch that S.P.D. one. Everytime they got kicked, they'd fall backwords, then they'd be like, "Oh noes! They got away so we can't save the world. **** them!"

At least Mystic Force is better.

I couldn't really get into it.

Afobean: Stop caring about the show and just watch the battles. For a kid's show that's not allowed to be overviolent, they do AWESOME fight scenes.

Example: Henshin a go-go, baby!

(P.S. Yes, I realize Viewtiful Joe should remind me of Sentai shows rather than vice versa. I can't help it.)

I'm am totally intriguied by Solaris Knight's rigged-ness until they make an episode involving the sun being blocked or something along the lines of that.

Yeah, Omega, I know the fighting is much better these days.

I first noticed it in the episode Forever Red. The Red Mighty Morphin Ranger does a few really impressive moves that must have taken wires and sophisticated work like that. I remember thinking to myself "wtf they never fought like that back in those days when did Jason learn to do that ****?"

I just watched Mystic Force a few times and the characters felt fake and I just couldn't warm up to them, unlike Ninja Storm, DinoThunder and to a much lesser extent SPD.

Ninja Storm was bull****, I DESPISED that series. They could have emphasized the theme of Ninjas a LOT more, but it ended up just being super-generic. Oh, wait. They had a ****ing hamster for a kung-fu master! I guess that means it wasn't generic.

The only thing bad about DinoThunder was the chick's power to scream supersonic waves, but that was easily overlooked.

SPD, I actually liked more than Dino Thunder. The fight scenes were shockingly impressive, there were more "out of costume" battles (though Wild Force was the best at this), and there was even some character development (I liked the Green Ranger, he had a very ADD personality). Oh, and it introduced the concept of generic goons that were actually almost as good as the Rangers in 1 on 1 (orangeheads).

Mystic Force? Eh...I don't really care for the theme, nor the plot (though I'm told it's relatively deep), but I like the characters (like Xander, with his quirky accent) and the action is absolutely bitchin'.

I saw the episode where the red ranger got the super exo-suit power-up.
And that whole fight scene against 3 villians and the she-mini-boss. It was pretty cool, but you could tell when they were on strings and stuff, and that
really distracted me from the stuff that was truley just the character and was
totally badass.

Chris and I have very similar tastes in our power rangers' sagas. Time Force was pretty deep...Because they had incorporated a soap opera like story into power rangers >_>
