My sister bought Celebreity Deathmatch for PS2

It was used and cost her $7.

She showed me, I figured it sucked, and I immediately looked it up on Gamespot. It was rated a 2.8 XD!! Have any of you played this game, and if so, what is your take on it? I'll prolly wind up playing it eventually since she has it, but my PS2 isn't at this house right now so I haven't had a chance to see just how bad it is.

But seriously, a 2.8. No wonder whoever had it before her traded it in to EB. XD

    EDIT: Fixed title**

So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

Never played it, but right when I looked on the box, I could tell I wouldn't like it.

Let's face it, shows and movies that are made into video games are usually high on the S.A.S., aka Sucks Ass Scales.

Just like how Dragonball Z games aren't that bad for fighting games on a public standard scale. Just because it has a bad marking in the name doesn't mean it's a bad game.

Well, I kinda meant to say that SOME shows and movies that are made into video games suck ass. Certain games, like the Dragonball Z series, is a decent game. Dragonball Z games are especially good for fighting games.

Well I would bet that the people who make Celeb DM wouldn't be good at making fighting games, and judging by the reviews I've read, I was right.

Plus, the game isn't even claymation, it's just normal 3D. That alone shows that the people who made it are retarded.

How are they supposed to use stop motion animation in a video game?

Best they could do is something like what was done with computer generated images and Donkey Kong Country. No one plays 2D games these days though.

Well, not "no one," but most people will take 3D over 2D any day of the week no matter what.

I bought Xena: Talisman of Fate for six bucks at Target once. Guess what it's rated on GS. That's right, 2.8.

The review put it nicely: "This would probably make a decent party game for players who don't know how to do anything more than mash every button available, but fans of fighting games should stay far, far away."

I'm a big fan of fighting games, and judging it by fighting game standards, it's worth about six bucks, but my friends and I had a whole lot of fun with it once at a party. 3D four-player fighting games weren't all that numerous on the N64.

I would bet that your game would be about the same.

There's a Clayfighters for SNES, and I'm pretty sure they used actual claymation shots. It's kinda like how Mortal Kombat took pictures of actual people and then put them in the game. They could take pictures of the claymation figures and then put them into the game frame-by-frame. I think I'll get a chance to play it tonight (going to my sister's, where the PS2 is living until I take it to my dorm when I move in) so I'll see if it looks anything like the show, but I don't see how it possibly could. =\

And yeah Guido, from what I hear, it's a real button masher. My sister will prolly think she's good at it and want to fight me, and I will probably dominate her, cuz she kinda sucks at video games.
