Hey, I finally grabbed an english copy of this after looking for about four years. It's a pretty good game. I rank it about in between FFTA and FFT. Not a very exciting story, but that's not what I play these kind of games for. Neat classes, though I haven't unlocked them all yet. Any thoughts on this game? Has anyone else even played it?

Ya, it's a placement game and takes a certain taste. If you didn't like it you should at least give FFT a shot, that game's the best kind of this genre in my opinion.Comment

Suikoden Tactics is pretty kick ass for a tactics game...But I haven't played Tactics Ogre yet...I can't find a copy anywhere...UNLEASH THE DRAGON

Re: Tactics Ogre: Knights of Lodis
I hated Tactics Ogre.
I bought my SP specifically for FFTA, and loved that, so since I liked tactical strategy games, I picked Tactics Ogre up (I don't know why y'all are saying it's hard to find... I'll gladly sell you my copy if you want). Big mistake. Story was bad, the skill system was stupid, and, worst of all, levelling up was horrible and not fun at all.
I recommend against playing this game.
As a side note, Scorpio, there's a LOT of room in between FFT and FFTA.

Re: Tactics Ogre: Knights of Lodis
FFTA sucks worse than almost any other game. But I won't get into that now.
Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis is a surprisingly decent little handheld SRPG. Very enjoyable, and many, many times better than the Fire Emblem GBA games or FFTA.
Guido: It is rare. It's published by Atlus, so don't expect to find it for less than 40 dollars anywhere.
Certainly not as rare as Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together, though, heh. LUCT is a better game than this anyway, and was pretty much a proto-FFT. If you can find it, I highly suggest picking it up. It's for the SFC and PSX, but only the PSX version was released here. Atlus.
Of course, it'd probably be best just to buy Disgaea or FFT since they're the best SRPGs ever. Or preorder Disgaea 2.Comment
