For me, its a toss-up between George A Romeros " Land of the Dead " , "Dawn of the Dead " , and " Return of the Living Dead : Rave to the Grave " . If i had to choose only one however, it would be " Land of the Dead ". This movie used more guns and had more violence which is what I like in zombie movies. As well, it presented a new theme of " Zombie Evolution " which i thought was cool.

Best Zombie movie ever. Only zombie movie I can actually stand, really. The concept of zombies is so ridiculous to begin with that I don't see how any serious zombie movies exist.

Are you on about "28 Days Later?" If so that film does rock, although I think it only just makes it as a zombie film. Shaun of the Dead FTW though. Seriously. Not because its really funny but because of the way it shows the right way to deal with zombies. Legendary. I wouldn't exactly say a zombie film though personally. Yea with the forest thingy bringing people back to life and that, but I wouldn't say a zombie film. There's like a certain criteria needed for a zombie film I think.
