Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

Oh man. I've never seen the movie before, and I'm about an hour into it on Google Video. I wish I had the energy to stay up an another hour and finish watching it, because this movie is pretty goddamn interesting. And the acting and cinematography is incredibly good.

But I'm too tired and sleepy. I'll finish watching it tommorrow.

I never could get into it. Depp was a very good actor in it, but I don't know, something about it just didn't appeal to me, I got bored after about an hour.

One of my all time Fav Films. The books better but I found the film was quite acurate.

My favourite quote has to be,

Raoul Duke:We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold. I remember saying something like:
Raoul Duke: I feel a bit lightheaded. Maybe you should drive.
Raoul Duke: Suddenly, there was a terrible roar all around us, and the sky was full with what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, and a voice was screaming:
Raoul Duke: Holy Jesus. What are these goddamn animals?
Dr. Gonzo: Did you say something?
Raoul Duke: Hm? Never mind. It's your turn to drive.
Raoul Duke: No point in mentioning these bats, I thought. Poor bastard will see them soon enough.

      oh and,

Dr. Gonzo: Let's give the boy a lift.
Raoul Duke: What? No. We can't stop here. This is bat country

The best intro to a film ever.
