Okay, I've been playing since yesterday and I progressed to 2 Stars and some 3 Star songs. Not alot though. I managed to pull out a AAA on Overblast! [5K]. The main problem I have with my style is that I sometimes fumble my fingers and I can't scratch fast enough so that the sensor will pick up the movement. Do any BM players on FFR have any hand tips or anything to help me get over this hurdle?

Can't help you very much because the first song I passed was a 5, about 6 months ago. I was never at the ultra noob level. -

The first song I passed was stupidly hard, as all I had was a simulator and Onokens originals.

5k mode on BM US has a bunch of horrible songs with horrible charts. It's also way, way too easy.Comment

Only licensed song worth playing is Virtual Insanity at the moment. Could you tell me how you position your hands? I try to use my pinky on the table but its so stiff that my pinky dont register the sensor.Comment

Pinky for scratch. The BM US turntable isn't that stiff, it just needs to be worn in a bit. Spin it around a lot. You could always mod it.Comment

Well I'm happy to report some progress. I've been using your hand style nd I've managed to go from beating all 1*s (except Outer Limits XD) to doing few 3*s. Now the main thing I have to work on is not fumbling my fingers when a rush of notes hit the screen. I can't even begin on how I keep failing the last 15 seconds of "in my eyes" [7K] Beginner because of that. =PComment
