    FFR Beatmania & DJMAX Style Mod

    How about making a Beatmania & DJMAX Style mod of FFR for everyone to play? Instead of arrows, you could use bars instead, and make the bars move down rather than upward, and still use the same simfiles/steps you would use for FFR. All you would really need to do is change the graphical look of FFR and controls, and you would then have a four-button Beatmania! It would really interest all those people looking for a flash form of Beatmania/DJMAX. How about it? It shouldn't be that difficult.

          Actually an idea like this was thrown around for a while, but I'm pretty sure it was scrapped entirely.

          Not very much interest in it from the FFR people. FFR people are interested in FFR. If you want BM/etc., play that. If you want FFR, play FFR.

              Agreed, plus beatmania on the keyboard is dumb. I guess you could usb hookup a controller, but that is kind of stupid aswell.

                  Well, if something like this would be done, I'm sure the key settings would be customizable so that you could play on DFJK or something in place of the arrows. If it was on DFJK, it wouldn't be that bad.

                  And yeah, I don't think a BM controller would ever work very well for a skinned FFR. FFR has only 4 keys, so there would be many unused keys on the controller.

                  Either way, if someone really wants to play something like that on keyboard, they can just play O2JAM, or get the BM mod for SM.

                      Or they could play a BM sim. Even though BM sims are terrible, they're at least 20 times better than O2Jam.

                      But playing IIDX on a computer is retarded anyway. Mad lag from the controller convertor, the monitor, and the game itself.

                                  Try searching the Internet if you come across something you don't know.

                                  Short answer: Beatmania is a rhythm based game in Konami's Bemani series.

                                      Flash doesn't support 7 button combinations at once.

                                      Besides, it's a bad idea because that is not what FFR is about.
