Ok so here's the start of the post. my First DDR experience was pretty funny actually. there was a guy doing some Japanese song on Heavy difficulty and the song was at: 190BPM. so then he's going along, and he sees me and he says to me: hey, you look pretty good at this. you wanna try? and I said: uhhh......Sure...... so i hopped on the machine and went absoloutely insane (Hitting absoloutely...NOTHING) so then he's like: hey, sorry about that *laughs* have you heard of FFR? and i'm like: no.... and he says: oh it's an online DDR for your fingers, I use that and my DDR dancemat to practice. and i'm like: ok... what's the link. and he told me it and I met all of you guys. So in a nutshell my DDR experience was HORRIBLE.

my first experience was probly the same as other pplz...just blindly stomping away at arrows not hitting any of them and looking like a fool as the little 12yr old girl next 2 me tears my ass up (>_<)

Well I had experience at the machine after experiencing the home version. I failed at 3rd mix a few years ago. The first experience was at um... playing 3 DDR machienes I went to the first mix and went on light and it was hard for me so i failed. Went to the next one failed on Tsugaru second round and the third machine which was EXTREME MIX i think which was a wide screen I went to begginer and rockedso I had alot of experience at 3 DDR machines in a day lol! The last experience I was on light when I have time I'll start on standard there...

my first was pretty funny. i was at best buy and they had a TV and dance dance revoution hooked up and all. I was with my older brother and younger sis at the time. I went and told my sis that i was like god on this. (didnt happen to mention i meant to say stepmania. lol) anyways i went and started the song end of the centry on beginners. at the time i didnt know that you dont lose energy for steping on inncorrect arrows. i ended up failing withing like 35 seconds.

2 years and many many MANY songs later i now get A and B's on standard ,and some heavy and challenge songs.

My first experience with ddr was 5 years ago.
When I was 11, and I remember playing beginner cause
I had no Idea how to play. and I didnt do that bad either. and
Now I am sixteen and I play all the time.
I have every playstation game for it.
And I have 3 dance pads including a metal one
DDR is awesome!

I always used to want to play DDR when I was a little kid.. like around 8 or 10 years old.. My first experience was pretty bad. I was playing with my friend.. I was like 9 and she was 11. XD She knew how to play, but I had no idea.. I barely hit any arrows. It was so embaressing, and so I hadn't played DDR until just last August when I went to Kings Dominion and played with my brother, surprisingly I could follow the arrows, but only because I had started playing FFR back in late April. =P

First time....ah yes that was with my friend at this arcade that I have no idea where it is. Well, he pretty much told me it was a cool game, then asked me to play. I thought it looked fun, so I jumped on and he picked...witch doctor...I think. Well I inevitably failed in the first ten seconds, one reason because I kept returning to the center of the pad, the other was because I was slow and had horrible reflexes, and kept looking at my feet so I lost track of what in heck I was supposed to be doing. But I'm glad I did because now I have a metal DDR pad and I play at home and it is fun....yeah.

Yeah I SHOULD be going on a DDR Machine Tomorow (Even with my bad knee

) so..not to kill my-self...I think I'll just stick with Light mode.. I'll tell you all how my second experience went.

Edit: well well well playing DDR with an injured knee was fun.. i sucked.. i figured out that my residence has a huge crisis. I have not seen anyone go past "Light Mode"
