    Kirby Puckett dies day after suffering stroke

    Hall of Famer Kirby Puckett died Monday, a day after suffering a stroke at his Arizona home, a spokeswoman for St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Scottsdale, Ariz., said.

                          Man, I was just watching this on sportscenter at 6. They listed him in a critical state, and it didn't sound good. It's unfortunate that it happened so fast. He was a disguisting ball player, he came down with some diesease in his eye that lead to a stroke.

                          Sad day in baseball.

                              well that sucks... but when i saw "Kirby" i thought of te voice actor in InuYasha for miroku and forgot his last name and remebered his first name is kirby so i was scared for a second.

                                  I have a Kirby vaccuum cleaner...
                                  Honestly though, Mr. Puckett was a pretty good player, but he wasn't taking care of himself of late, so I saw this coming.
