Izzy playing Stepmania (Frenzy)

Craziest video I have EVER seen on Stepmania. I'm curious to see if anyone has a video that can top this.
He plays this on index BTW.
Random Fact: During the 16th runs his fingers are moving at 19.2 keys per second (1,156 per minute).

Yeah, that's definately one of the most impressive ones out there. Izzy has done quite a few other nice videos, including Delirium Oni, Reality, Stunt Flying (4-finger only), and I Am Maid Oni, all on index. Anobody has also done incredible videos of My Spirit Will Go On, Disregard, Vertex Beta (AAAA), and Gaussian Mist Oni, all on index.

during A-kon, when I was doing demonstrations at the Redoctane booth for ITG one of his "friends" came up to me and started bragging about SM. Than he started bitching about how he always played with jumps off then when he tried to play ITG he couldn't even read Disconnected expert at 1.5x.

rofl I didn't go over to his house just to play StepMania. One reason was to be able to go play ITG2 on the one ITG2 machine in the area, which is 5 miles from his house.

Just because you went to his house doesn't make me believe you. This video is very unconvincing. His taps don't sound near onbeat for the speed that he was getting marvelouses, and his consistency was weird. Normally, you'd see someone getting little blurbs of perfects in the 16th streams. The fact that he has assist tick on leaves room for a lot of error in your own sound as well; I never play with assist tick on and I don't know why he would need to.
Sorry, but I'd need a really clear video of his fingers and the screen for me to believe this, which I don't at all. Izzy's scores have been fishy since the day he joined FFR, and many people have given him little to no credibility. I really don't care if you met him in person; Robby had a guy go over to his house and he still turned out to be a huge bull****ter.

I'm pretty sure Izzy's legit. He most likely is the biggest retard in the Bemani Stepmania community, but he is still good. He baisically plays SM all day and all night and neglects his grades and pretty much everything else in his life in order to do so. He also recently got straight F's too.
But back on topic, my friend used to be one of the top ten players on SMO back in the day and he used to play/talk with Izzy alot, and he always told me he was legit.

rofl no need to throw the "Facts" in his face. It's very easy to be a skeptic given the situation. Take a look at a good majority of the videos arch has ever posted, they are STILL being critisized years after being made. It's not as if you've unearthed the holy grail of stepmania videos and proved us all wrong.

I say Izzy is living proof that you don't need to be smart to be good at a rhythm game.
Besides that, the fact that people still question Arch's video is in a way his own fault. He didn't put enough credible evidence in there to show the general population outside of StepMania that it was legit, such as as getting a close-up of the radar to show that the game had it set on 1.5x music speed. I really don't care about its legitimacy one way or the other, but it still bugs me that there are still debates over a video that's more than a year and a half old.

They are right. Arch showed his fingers in his video, and yet people still criticize it. Even though he shows judge settings, and ini (I still don't know why just showing the ini file on notepad is going to prove anything), we aren't just going to believe it because the consistency of the notes and when he pushes the keys are sometimes weird and off-beat.

There's no ini shown...no wonder there's all this doubt. Defenders; have you played this song? It's incredibly offbeat. Not to mention if you really use your ears he's very off at one part coming out of the 16ths...to the point where he should have gotten greats, but he gets like 4 perfects instead.
It's possible. I think I AAA"d this...however, getting that many marvs on a song that fast is extremely fishy. Especially with no ini shown. A small edit of the ini in this case would inflate your score ten fold. It's not a question of wether or not he is good. It's a question of did he cheat in this video or not.
It's like saying nima is legit because he AAA/AAAA'd some easy songs on video. As if that somehow means you can get 3 greats on my gigadelic. Saying 'if they're so good why would they cheat!??!' is a poorly thought through response. Why do amazing olympic athletes take drugs and cheat?
Either way, I don't play sm anymore. So do I really care? No. I'll take his word for it and assume it's legit until proven otherwise, because it doesn't really matter to me. If you post fake videos than shame on you

I want to add one last thing to this.
Let's suppose he is a cheater. All his stats on SMO are faked, his video's are faked (Wow, that must have taken a LOT of effort), and every score he posted so far is fake.
Who is the dumbass now ? The person that thought he is legit while he isn't ? Or the person that spended hours and hours on carefully faking up scores on a computer game ?
Off course you shouldn't believe anything you see. But when someone manages to pull of multiple videos with fingers shown, I think you should accept his legitimacy. Say: wow, nice score man, and stop caring (too much).

it's all a matter of ego, I think.
I posted bs STEPMANIA scores on FFR about 2 years ago, and was easily caught. All I wanted was people to say "hey good job," but that didn't happen. I started playing legitly, posted my improving scores, and that felt more accomplishing than having bs scores shot down.

All of his scores don't necisarilly have to be fake if one is Lonely. What reach is saying (using his nima comparison) that he may be really really good at stepmania, but it doesn't mean that he is THAT good and we doesnt have to show an ini after each video.

Craziest video I have EVER seen on Stepmania. I'm curious to see if anyone has a video that can top this.
He plays this on index BTW.
Random Fact: During the 16th runs his fingers are moving at 19.2 keys per second (1,156 per minute).

Yeah, that's definately one of the most impressive ones out there. Izzy has done quite a few other nice videos, including Delirium Oni, Reality, Stunt Flying (4-finger only), and I Am Maid Oni, all on index. Anobody has also done incredible videos of My Spirit Will Go On, Disregard, Vertex Beta (AAAA), and Gaussian Mist Oni, all on index.

during A-kon, when I was doing demonstrations at the Redoctane booth for ITG one of his "friends" came up to me and started bragging about SM. Than he started bitching about how he always played with jumps off then when he tried to play ITG he couldn't even read Disconnected expert at 1.5x.

rofl I didn't go over to his house just to play StepMania. One reason was to be able to go play ITG2 on the one ITG2 machine in the area, which is 5 miles from his house.

Just because you went to his house doesn't make me believe you. This video is very unconvincing. His taps don't sound near onbeat for the speed that he was getting marvelouses, and his consistency was weird. Normally, you'd see someone getting little blurbs of perfects in the 16th streams. The fact that he has assist tick on leaves room for a lot of error in your own sound as well; I never play with assist tick on and I don't know why he would need to.
Sorry, but I'd need a really clear video of his fingers and the screen for me to believe this, which I don't at all. Izzy's scores have been fishy since the day he joined FFR, and many people have given him little to no credibility. I really don't care if you met him in person; Robby had a guy go over to his house and he still turned out to be a huge bull****ter.

Yeah, i love how everyone cocksucks good bemani players and whenever they say something their word is gold, irregardless of its true legitimacy. It's all a name game. You're getting at a good point here. I mean, come on. Is izzy a genious? no. Is he good at stepmania? hell i don't even know that rofl. I haven't payed attention to the sm scene for a long time. It's like saying all olympic athletes are very intelligent, gracious people. Usually social/ (certain) unique skill aptitudes are correlated with intellectual functioning. Many people make this mistake.

I'm pretty sure Izzy's legit. He most likely is the biggest retard in the Bemani Stepmania community, but he is still good. He baisically plays SM all day and all night and neglects his grades and pretty much everything else in his life in order to do so. He also recently got straight F's too.
But back on topic, my friend used to be one of the top ten players on SMO back in the day and he used to play/talk with Izzy alot, and he always told me he was legit.

rofl no need to throw the "Facts" in his face. It's very easy to be a skeptic given the situation. Take a look at a good majority of the videos arch has ever posted, they are STILL being critisized years after being made. It's not as if you've unearthed the holy grail of stepmania videos and proved us all wrong.

I say Izzy is living proof that you don't need to be smart to be good at a rhythm game.
Besides that, the fact that people still question Arch's video is in a way his own fault. He didn't put enough credible evidence in there to show the general population outside of StepMania that it was legit, such as as getting a close-up of the radar to show that the game had it set on 1.5x music speed. I really don't care about its legitimacy one way or the other, but it still bugs me that there are still debates over a video that's more than a year and a half old.

They are right. Arch showed his fingers in his video, and yet people still criticize it. Seeing someones stats proves nothing. If someone cheats they will obviously cheat their stats too. Regardless, there will always be an argument as to whether this video (and probably every other good video that has been made, and will be made) is real or fake.

There's no ini shown...no wonder there's all this doubt. Defenders; have you played this song? It's incredibly offbeat. Not to mention if you really use your ears he's very off at one part coming out of the 16ths...to the point where he should have gotten greats, but he gets like 4 perfects instead.
It's possible. I think I AAA"d this...however, getting that many marvs on a song that fast is extremely fishy. Especially with no ini shown. A small edit of the ini in this case would inflate your score ten fold. It's not a question of wether or not he is good. It's a question of did he cheat in this video or not.
It's like saying nima is legit because he AAA/AAAA'd some easy songs on video. As if that somehow means you can get 3 greats on my gigadelic. Saying 'if they're so good why would they cheat!??!' is a poorly thought through response. Why do amazing olympic athletes take drugs and cheat?
Either way, I don't play sm anymore. So do I really care? No. I'll take his word for it and assume it's legit until proven otherwise, because it doesn't really matter to me. If you post fake videos than shame on you

I want to add one last thing to this.
Let's suppose he is a cheater. All his stats on SMO are faked, his video's are faked (Wow, that must have taken a LOT of effort), and every score he posted so far is fake.
Who is the dumbass now ? The person that thought he is legit while he isn't ? Or the person that spended hours and hours on carefully faking up scores on a computer game ?
Off course you shouldn't believe anything you see. But when someone manages to pull of multiple videos with fingers shown, I think you should accept his legitimacy. Say: wow, nice score man, and stop caring (too much).

it's all a matter of ego, I think.
I posted bs STEPMANIA scores on FFR about 2 years ago, and was easily caught. All I wanted was people to say "hey good job," but that didn't happen. I started playing legitly, posted my improving scores, and that felt more accomplishing than having bs scores shot down.

All of his scores don't necisarilly have to be fake if one is Lonely. What reach is saying (using his nima comparison) that he may be really really good at stepmania, but it doesn't mean that he is THAT good and we doesnt have to show an ini after each video.
