legend of MAX is complicated you need to relax and follow steps by moving your feet at the same speed as the step itself. put the speed on 1.5 moves become clearer and better positioned.
PSM you have to play PS on 1.5 or 2x speed once your used to that then try and play PSM your body will slowy become acomodated to the faster steps. Oni PSM try different steps functions right left and so on.
Legend of MAX: There are three parts that are difficult. Two are before the freeze/slowdown, and involve jump-run-jump patterns. You just have to keep playing these to get them right. Towards the end, the final runs are very draining. Play on the insides of the panels if you can, to avoid overworking yourself. Overall, loosen up and just do it.
PSMH: Play Paranoia Survivor on Mirror a few times before you tackle this. You'll find the patterns to be exactly the same, only faster. Plus the ending, of course. Again, that ending just needs to be practiced a lot. Also, as a rule of thumb, don't ever shuffle your feet. Cross over when needed, but don't "double-step" the arrows.
PSMO: ...Just keep failing it. The more you play it, the more you'll get familiar with it. Make sure your stamina is up a lot, too. And be able to read things very, very fast, including crossovers. You'll definitely need to use them to clear it. There are several places where a shuffle will be needed, but again, don't adjust your feet between steps unless you have to.
Well, this seems like fun. I wonder if my metal mats will hold up, lol.
I think the most challenging song will be Legend, because I heard that PSMO is about as hard as Legend.
PSMO is much harder than Legend. I still need to pass PSMO (maybe because the arcade pads I play on suck), though I passed Legend long ago. In terms of difficulty on Extreme's 10 footers, I believe they best go in this order:
bag (at least 3x, though)
Sakura (Heavy)
MAX 300
MaxX Unlimited
The Legend of Max or Paranoia Survivor
Paranoia Survivor Max (Heavy)
Paranoia Survivor Max (Oni)
If you're going to try to pass these at home (as you seemed to imply with your metal pad comment), you need something for support, unless your metal pad does have a bar. Otherwise, you may have a hard time keeping balance on some of the crossovers, and staying on rhythm during and after the faster steps. I can't even begin to imagine getting close to passing PSMO without using the bar.
PROUD OWNER OF TWO OMEGA FAVORS. YEAH, NICE TRY. Giant NES Controller (4 FEET) progress: PAINT IS DONE! Download my Wii Music Suite v1.0, and PM me with your input!

lol to do these at home, DO NOT SE SOFT PADS!!! I kin only get B's on those songs with mine.... Havent passed PSM. Just try doing them while sitting on a couch then after a few trys get up and do them. I did that and now I can play those songs! =) It seems like a dumb thing to do but it helped me. Also, after doing some of them the arrows should seem slower or that was just me dehydrating... <.<

No, no. =P See, I think it's more like...
bag (If you use higher speed mods...Otherwise it's difficult to read.)
Sakura (Heavy)
MAX 300
PARANOiA Survivor
The legend of MAX
MaxX Unlimited
PARANOiA Survivor MAX (Heavy) *
PARANOiA Survivor MAX (Oni) *
PARANOiA -Respect- **
* Odd patterns, crossovers, high speed.
** Freeze arrows that last about 0.2 seconds but are enough to throw you. It's not on EX, but it's on Party Collection and Supernova; and still fairly difficult.
