I dont see how they'd be able to top Final Destination 2. That movie was a work of art....a cinematic master piece.

I doubt I will ever see this, but a coworker of mine said that it was the goriest movie he has ever seen.

Somehow I doubt this movie is gory at all compared to movies I've seen. The other two were extremely tame. And since the only purpose of the series is pointless gore, the series sucks.

all horror movies have been lacking. dont get me wrong, the deaths are great but the movies just suck.

Actually, I find that the psychological ramifications are what make it worth watching.

Like: What would you do if you knew death was coming for you?

I enjoyed [the ending of] Final Destination 2 (I woke up and it was on the TV for some reason), and I think a roller coaster theme is one of the best situations to base a movie about dodging death on. Or is the roller coaster a minority or something? It doesn't look like it from the commercials, but I kind of remember Final Destination 2 having various themes in it.

i didnt really enjoy final destination 2.. and everyone i know who has seen final destination 3, and agrees with me on number 2, says #3 is better. i cant wait to see it =]

I want to see this. It sounded like a good movie. Final Destination 2 was OK, but the first one was cooler. I like how in the second one that guy gets cut'd in half by the flying wire fence.

friday it was supposed to be one of the best movies this year but instead of going to see it my friends and i watched Date Movie it was hilarious in a dumb sort of way

The goriest movie ever (actually, a series of movies) was the Guinea Pig series from japan. The first 2 were based on actual snuff films. They were just remakes of the actual videos. The 2nd one was shwon at some part and Charlie Sheen (sp) thought it was real and contacted the FBI. There was an investigation and in the end they found out they were fake, blah blah blah. I have yet to see them as I think they would be really disturbing but I do have an urge

Saw this last weekend. Overall it was pretty solid. The deaths are just as entertaining as in the previous movies, with a couple of quite thoughtful and rather funny ones this time around.

Overall, I'd still say the original was best, simply based on it being the first movie with the concept. That aside, this one did have a really cool theme, as i'm sure everyone who's been on a rollercoaster could tell you that the idea of it breaking flashes through your mind, if only for a split second... cool idea for sure.

I'd say it was cooler than 2, yet not as good as one.

Still, if you like gore and boobs mixed with an alright horror/suspense film idea, go see this.
