    Yoot Saito's Odama

Well, let me tell you, this game looks awsome. Exactly 4 weeks and this game hits shelves, and I can't wait. Well, I can wait, maybe for a couple reviews, but after that, I'm definately taking a look into this.

What Odama is is a cross between a RTS and pinball set in Japan. Quite a wierd concept, but from the videos I've seen, it works. Well. You control the flippers, tilt, and other little things with the controller while ordering men with the microphone.

And there's a lot of action, oh boy. Whether it's plowing through the enemy's units (and sometimes your own if you're not careful) or destroying villages, the action never stops. When watching the videoes, I could help from laughing when around 75 men fell down in about a second.

I say, if you own a Gamecube, consider it. If you don't, still watch the videoes. It's a game better left to seeing than describing.

Just because I made the thread, doesn't mean you should ignore it.

It looks good, but it could just be that people have nothing to say, not because you made the thread but because it's an obscure game.

That, and you only waited a full day on one of the slowest FFR Boards.

"A new take on the epic fantasy genre... Darkly comic, relatable characters... twisted storyline."

"Readers who prefer tension and romance, Maledictions: The Offering, delivers... As serious YA fiction, I’ll give it five stars out of five. As a novel? Four and a half." - Liz Ellor

      My new novel:

      Maledictions: The Offering.

      Now in Paperback!

Odama is hardly obscure. It's been on the radar since 2002? 2003? An E3 a while back.

It's nice that it's finally coming out. The Gamecube needs some sort of activity.

The slowest one that I post at is 32 RGB. This place isn't that slow, quite a few threads were bumped up above this, so I bumped it back up.

Yeah, I read the news article about its release. I never heard about it until recently though :P Well, I'm glad it's coming out.

Yeah, it's more that I've known about this game for about 2 years, and I'd like to try it out...Just to see if it's actually any fun.

                UNTIL NOW

Looks alright though, i might try it.
