We have to make a video based on our research paper topic in history. According to the guidelines, there must be music at the beginning and the end, as well as some playing under the video.
Well, here's the deal. You guys get to make me three songs. An opening, middle, and end.
Here's some info:
1. Any genre is fine
2. The topic is Tiananmen Square, try to make the music somehow reflect this
3. Intro/end songs need to only be 15-30 seconds long
4. The underlying song should be 7-8 minutes long and fairly ambient - some downtempo trance would be best for this
5. This video will be uploaded to iTunes as a podcast. Our comp-sci teacher/person is an Apple representative. These videos will be the first entries in the new "Education" podcast category. This means many, many people will get to hear your music, as these videos are going to be shown at schools around the country as part of a new education initiative for Apple.
6. Songs must be either copyright free, or have the permission explicitly stated. No problem, I'm asking you guys to make it for me.
7. Your name will go in the credits, along with a link to your site and your email. Refer to #5.
8. Must be an original song. No remixes unless you also made the original.
That's pretty much it. I expect some good stuff!
