    Shakugan no Shana

Not long after he had entered high school, Sakai Yuji’s normal days were finished. He saw something strange on his way home; people were frozen in fire, and a monster looking like a large doll assaulted them. When he was about to be killed, a girl in black cloth holding a large sword appeared, and cut the monster into halves. Although Yuji pulled though the crisis, the girl informed him of a hopeless fact.

    `You don't "exist" anymore'

She called herself Flamehayes who hunts “Kuze no Tomogara”, intruders from another world. She explained to him that he was a "torch”, a substitute of Yuji whose “existence” had already been eaten. She also told him that he was a special torch, “Mystis”, which has a precious item in it. When he looked at his chest, he saw a faint flame like she said.

In this way, his eternal fight alongside the girl he named Shana began.
Wow, it's a neat show. Eclipse has been doing a great job with the show so far. If the plot summary didn't explain enough for you (which it really didn't explain enough for me), go watch the first episode. It should all become clear then.

    RE: Shakugan no Shana

Heyy, I have the first seven episodes of this, and it's been next up on my list of things to catch up on watching. It's pretty awesome already, and I love the art style.

I've watched up to episode 7, and I'm not all sure what the big deal is about it. It's decent, but nothing worth having a hernia over and it CERTAINLY isn't the best show this season. Not by a long shot.

Meh, I'll probably just download more subs if I have nothing else to watch.

Shana is an interesting character, but she is usually too busy being a complete bitch for me to care much about her.

Aside from that, there is something about this show that really bugs me, to the extent that I doubt I will continue following it to the end.

Show is okay but its kind of standard fair like another Lunar Legend Tsukihime.

God damn I wish my torrent would hurry up D:
I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.
