    Best DDR Pad and Game, Price Not An Issue

    What is the best DDR metal pad (e.g. RedOctane, etc.), and what is the best game (e.g. DDR Max2, In The Groove, etc.) for PS2? I've been looking at a lot of pads on www.ddraction.com and on RedOctane, and I cannot decide what would be best. If anyone knows, I would also like to know the pros and cons of wireless versus wired. Price is not an issue because all of my friends are chipping in. All help is appreciated. Oh, please don't flame me for making this topic is someone else already did, thank you.

    ~Josh.

    Edit: I looked at the "HOME VERSIONS&HOME PADS" thread, and it didn't really help.

      Ya ITG is waaaay harder than DDR but also more difficulties and more fun. Just dont do some expert songs... (vertex, tell, etc.) they are hard on controller and I cant believe ppl can dance to them. But pad...i dont know...
      EDIT: i think that most metal pads would help. they are expensive though

        mats:
        ignition 2.0(old version): $100, dense foam inserts, low sliding, good general mat, though like every non metal mat it will eventually stop working properly
        cobalt flux....$300 and another $50 for shipping x.x
        good dance games:
        DDR: based on preference, extreme 2 has a lot of good extreme arcade songs, MAX 2 has a good general selection(highly recommend),
        MAX 1... eh mediocre, extreme 1...i like it because it has good beatmania songs
        ITG: worth trying, especially if you like VERY challenging songs
        PIU: idk ^^;

          What about the DDR versions for xbox? Which is the best of those, Ultramix 3?

          p.s. My PS2 doesnt work so I can't get ITG or DDR Extreme 2

              IMO, Cobalt Flux is the best pad out there. It lasts for a long time and it is extremely sensitive. I used my friend's Cobalt Flux and it is amazing.
              DDR Extreme is still the best mix out there if you have PS2, but if you have XBOX, I've found that Ultramix 3 is best. Happy Buying!
