You can pick up the Konami Official Controller for $75 or so, and the games vary from $40-50 depending on the style. As for the place to get them, I got mine through ebay, but playasia.com is definately more reliable, if a bit more expensive. Before working on getting IIDX, you also need to mod your ps2. A flip-top mod and Swap Magic 3 can be bought together for around $40.

The games are 62 dollars + 40 dollars shipping from PlayAsia. The controllers are 85 dollars, also on PlayAsia. A fliptop and SwapMagic 3 are 40 dollars together.

If you order the game and controller together, expect to pay around 200 dollars. Add 40 more if you buy a fliptop and SwapMagic 3.

Basically, you need a japanese PS2 to play the games. That allows you to mod your ps2 to play it.

Don't listen to emccky.

Using SwapMagic lets you actually load the games. You need a fliptop so you can put another disc in after SwapMagic is loaded without using the eject button, which activates region sensors.
