jTWG XII Postgame

gj guys. It's kinda funny that the guardian died early and nobody knew. Thankfully, the wolves had no idea, and stayed away from gamepro.

If it was a strategy, I would've had to have found a wolf, come out to them, and told them to wolf me. Oh, and somehow notified everybody else. Oh, and then give the wolves amnesia. Riiiiiight. (if you didn't follow that, that isn't a strategy, it's luck)

So yeah, I got wolfed right off the bat.. no surprise, especially since ruler was a wolf, I would've sniffed him out in a heartbeat.

Tasuke slipped up so much it's not even funny. I don't know how you guys didn't peg him earlier.

Saying that and not supplying an opinion TELLS you that he's trying to get you to think in one direction. He was TELLING you. When a wolf tells you they're a wolf, you'd better listen.

Purplepopcorn.. express your opinions more clearly. Sifting through the crap in your posts and trying to make sense of it was a struggle. Not only that, but don't dick around like you did day 1. Voting for someone coming out as the seer is the dumbest thing you can do. What if they ARE the seer? Are you that willing to kill them?

Chickendude had a great game. I mean his name is like chicken+dude, how can you go wrong?

To basically everyone else, stop being so damn ADD (I use that term loosely, ruler, you were one of the most attentive >_>) during the game. Just because day 1 is over, doesn't mean you stop posting. If anything, you should start posting more. I don't remember exactly, but I believe it was something like 8 pages day 1 and 7 for days 2-5. That's inexcusable.

Oh yeah, there's Nick. Nick had a good game up until when he got wolfed.

Uh.. I might have had more to say, I don't really remember. I'll see what other people post.

Wow. I was way off on my guesses of who the wolves were.

Whatever. My coming out definitely aided the humans, so it's all solid. I'm glad I could help, expecially since coming out as the seer was the best thing to do at that point, and I'm pretty sure that others wouldn't have done it.

You guys got lucky. I don't see why you guys suspected me. I thought i did an okay job.
I was trying to keep the seer alive all game, because that would be ironic. I still don't see why you guys didn't vote purple though. When there's 4 people and one of them is a wolf.I'm always gonna vote for the person that hasn't been seered.

I saw Tasuke screwing up so many times, but didn't really think about it until the last day. I have to admit, I did actually trust him for a while, since he voted and helped lynch ddrruler. But then, I might have done that if I was the wolf, to help throw people off me. I came to him and told him about it, and he didn't hesitate to vote ddrruler. I found that strange.

Day 2 - Which is when I came into the game, I knew nothing so I couldn't help. Afrobean Seer'd danceguy and came up Human, I had no idea he was the guardian when I was talking to him. Once we start to get something going, he dies >_>

Day 3 - Was so fucking awesome, I was really lucky to Seer the last regular wolf. (Gonzo had already been lynched and I can't see through a Master Wolf.)

Day 4 - I seer'd Minineo, then he got wolfed :< I couldn't really find much on this day, and ended up voting random. It was right here where I saw Tasuke.

Day 5 - I was wondering why the wolf didn't kill me yet, then remembered that it was the Master Wolf, and now my role has pretty much turned into a normal human. I seer'd Tasuke and he came up human. =/ purplepopcorn voted for Tasuke, I don't remember why - safety vote I think, then removed his vote. Being a first time player, if he was a wolf I don't think he would switch his vote to himself this late in the game. That helped me out a lot. I already trusted chickendude so there was one person left. I figured out Tasuke was the wolf the second I saw purplepopcorn change his vote.

I wanted to play with Tasuke for a while and see what he would do, but didn't.

I wanted the others to see it, I didn't want to tell them that Tasuke was the wolf, it wouldn't help them on their TWG experience if I didn't, but I got impatient.

That was a really fun game. At first, I didn't want to play at all, it didn't matter if it was TWG or jTWG, it's not the experience of the players that bothers me but it's how long the games take and when you're just a human you don't have as much fun.Once I seer'd ddrruler that completely changed, I wanted to find both wolves alone and I believe I did. (ddrruler and Tasuke)

I hate you so much for saying that.

It had nothing to do with who he seered. Remember that the seer should not be what keeps the humans together, it's just an added bonus. This fact is amplified when the MW comes into play.

I forgot to mention that GP did very well to notice purple switching onto himself and noticing that he wouldn't have put himself at that kind of risk on what was basically the last day of his first game if he was a wolf.

Tasuke, when you're back against the wall, there's one day left and you're one from insta, you need to start pulling strings like fucking crazy. It's no time to play passively. Also, your logic got really shaky at the end. When GP pointed out how purple probably wouldn't switch onto himself if he was a wolf, you tried to use that as evidence against him. This in itself isn't horrible. What is horrible is that you said it was suspicious just because it was odd. When you've got nowhere left to turn, you have to force opinions upon people. Tell them that purple seems smarter than others might think and that he was probably doing it to make sure no one suspected him.

edit: I also forgot to congratulate the humans for winning, haha. Well, I should really just be congratulating GP and chickendude anyway, they're the reason the humans pulled this off.

I didn't trust tasuke in the end, mainly because... everyone else had cleared their name on day 1-2

We pretty much had a 6 person alliance at one point <_<
it was like Gamepro, Nickadeemus, me, hiyasucka, torlock
and we (or at least I) trusted purple popcorn and minineo

that only left ddrruler, tasuke, and benji at that point

we were going to seer benji, but ddrruler started acting strange, so we went for him... and benji ended up getting lynched. It's no coincidence or luck or random guess that we got ddrruler.

everyone had their name cleared,
GP and Nick's status and gonzo's kill backed each other up
I had a convo with gonzo that proved I was human
people who voted against gonzo or had gonzo vote against them, were trusted a whole lot more
or they got wolfed and nick said they were human <_<

So basically, after gonzo was lucky killed, (random votes + luck in the KIB) humans had huge advantage, because everybody had links to him proving their innocence except for a select few. We had the seer and psychic in an alliance, along with 2-3 other humans, so we were set <_<

Woo! In my mind it was either hiya or Tasuke and I picked the wrong one. Perhaps if I had gone back one more time voting and rereading things more carefully I would have voted for Tasuke, but I was satisfied with how I played up to that point. Getting proof of GP and chickendude were a big help in narrowing down the field of possible wolves. I'm most proud of my vote for the Kib with gonzo and gonzo being the one dying (only half through my control).

When the game started I was bummed I didn't get to be wolf/special role, but then night one matt says he forgot to make a guardian and so, *poof* it brought a whole new light to my game.
