    how do i make my own steps for music in ddr?

    does any1 know a program where i can make and play my own songs and steps?

    Actually I wanted to know this as well. I can't seem to use the step editor in SM unless someone has made the song before. Any other stepfile programs?

        you can do just fine with the stepmania editor
        thats how I made my... like 3 stepfiles >_>;

              Download Stepmania and open the editor. The only thing required is the music you want to use while stepping it.

                That's what I did but SM doesn't recognize the MP3 file or anything. I even made a folder for it in the Songs folder.

                    create an empty .dwi in notepad and save it in the folder before opening the editor and/or read the ultimate simfile FAQ
