I finally got ahold of a digital camera capable of capturing video, which means that I was finally able to make a Stepmania video.
I decided to take a video of Reach's %% on 1.1x music speed, played one handed, of course. Although the computer screen came out rather blury, I am quite pleased with how my friend was able to capture a clear shot of my hand and arrow keys while keeping the monitor in view. The volume of the music is kind of low, as I was using my Grado SR-80s as make-shift speakers (they have proven to be better in that regard than any actual speakers I have >_>), but it is still audible. The video can be found here:
You will probably be able to appreciate this more if you are familiar with the sim, since the arrows are more or less illegible in this video. It is a really awesome sim too, so you really should get it if you don't have it yet. You can get the sim here:
Thanks go out to Teddy for patiently shooting the video (this score took quite a few tries), to skauert for lending some of his time to try and compress the video, and to Moogy for hosting it.
PS 1000 posts
