Discuss the "Yikes! My Pants!" headline.

I think a topic for this would be perfect. We want to talk about the updates with others, yet the comment page seems too small for that matter:

    -------
Update 1: Dance all night long with IIR "Internet Independent Ranking"

    Quote and Summary:
The purpose of IIR is to provide a spot for you to keep track of your accomplishments on Dance Dance Revolution. The current version is still in beta and only supports the arcade version of DDR Extreme. We will be adding support for the home versions, arcade versions of DDR and other dance games in the near future.
The main goal was to put up a DDR Internet ranking for FFR, so people can put their scores onto it and have fun. That is what this is and they seem successful.

Update 2: IIDX? No its FFR R1 3rd Style

    Quote and Summary:
A completely new and redisgned R1. Now we have started work breaking down and animating the entire interface with Bemaniruler. Bemaniruler really is the god of animating interfaces. Once the animation is done, we will integrate it back into the existing FFR and change FFR where need be in order to accomodate new features. I promise a more easy to navigate and easier to read FFR once this is all finished. If that isn't exciting enough, we have also secured the amazing artist Yukon Makoto to create all new characters for FFR.The estimated release of this new version is sometime this fall and will include many of the features that people have been requesting for the past 6 months but I cannot say what we will or will not include until I have finished them.
A blurred image of the new design is posted on the front page. Basically in a sentence, a new designed R1 theme with new features taken from people's suggestions and then some. Now when will this be released? They plan for fall of this year. What will the new suggestion-answered features be? We can only guess for now.

Update 3: Shirts, Stickers, and Sales

    Quote and Summary:
We have designed (thanks to Spigumus) and are ready official FFR T-shirts which will go on sale in the next few days. The first batch will be ordered this coming week and we will start delivery (via lightdarkness) 1 month later after they get printed and shipped to him. they will come in these sizes: X-Large, Large, Medium, Small. We will also be producing true vinyl cut FFR stickers based on these designs for your car windows or whatever you see fit to put them on. These are not printed on but true cut and hand weeded vinyl stickers. It is important to remember that ALL SALES are NON-PROFIT.
An image of the shirts are on the front page. A shirt is a shirt, no gimmicks, no add ons. The poll to choose which two shirts you would like to stay is on the far top right of the front page. Personally, all of the T-Shirts look good, but I would like it if there were different sets of colors for the background. How much these shirts will cost? We don't know that yet. I would also like to know what they are compairing their sizes to. I wouldn't want to buy a shirt online and turn out its infact too small/too big for me.

The stickers are a small extra it looks like to the little FFR Shop. Again it speaks for itself, its a sticker. The stickers will be based on the T-Shirt designs. How much will they cost? We also don't know so far, but we can obtain information if we ask around. Now will the stickers be an extra to the T-Shirts or maybe a discount if you buy a lotted amount of items? That also will be answered later or by asking around. What we do know is that these stickers are re-usable. That means you can stick, then peel off and use again.
    -------

You can now talk amongst yourselves here and discuss about the new updates posted onto the front page.

RE: Discuss the "Yikes! My Pants!" headline.

I don't usually get shirts off the internet, but I'm seriously considering getting design 2, which appears to be winning in the poll, so they oughta be produced. YAY!
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

I want all of them, but augh I can't have them.

I wanted #1 more than #2, but then again #3 has potential.

        I want a #4.

#3 sparked my interest right away. Those arrows flying to the direction they're pointing and stuff.

The big thing that REALLY caught my attention was the red interface displayed in one of the screenshots. It'd be neat to have a full new colour scheme added to the game.

Any guesses on what the Background Music is going to be like?

I'm going to guess if its red then something a bit hard, but not too hard, since this is still FFR.

I'd love to be able to switch styles, like how we can switch playing IIDX styles. Different versions have different songs. But that is not going to happen for obvious reasons.

RE: Discuss the "Yikes! My Pants!" headline.

T-shirt talk goes in the poll comments page...what's really something to be excited about is 3rd Style.

Seriously. This is going to be bloody incredible when it comes out. Of course, I can't comment on some of the features we will be including, but the interface itself is great.

The font we're using for 3rd Style is way more legible than the current font.

Background music is slightly tricky...I already know for sure one of the songs we're using but a lot of it has to wait until we've secured the licenses we're going after. I haven't been able to work too much on licensing songs because I'm still settling down in England, but LD and I will probably work something out pretty soon.

I wish Synth hadn't posted that red interface screen cause that's a dead giveaway that there's a new challenge ahead ; )
...the question is, what is this mystery challenge? Will it be hard to unlock? Will it be even harder to complete? The answers to both are, of course, a resounding "yes!"

(I hate where the quote mark is on British keyboards.)

The interface with the large round numbers you clicked on was 1st Style. The one we've got now is 2nd Style. This one is 3rd Style.

I wish I could write more but there's a high table dinner in 40 minutes, attendance is mandatory, and I need to go dress up and look sharp. Zing.

I'll keep an eye on this topic!

                EDIT:

I would definitely go for the #2 T-shirt. I don't like the bars on the first one, I think it messes it up up, and the arrows are just too boring to look at. #2 all the way!

This 3rd style thing is awesome! You mentioned unlockables? New color schemes? Wow, I can't wait!

I assumed that the red background one was a fail evaluation screen. It makes sense I think.

Also, these shirts will have the URL on it, right? It'd be awfully silly to advertise for a website but not be able to advertise the URL.
