I swear my doctor is a quack.

    I've got bronchitis.

Of course, you'd think that my doctor would prescribe me a pill or two and send me on my way.

This is not the case. Here's a list of what i'm taking:

Nebulizer Medication (inhaling thingy) : 4x daily
Other nebulizer thing: 1x daily, mix with other meds when taken.
    Antibiotic: 2x daily.
"cough syrup": 4x daily (loaded with codeine. makes me VERY SLEEPY.)
other cough syrup: 2x daily. This is also loaded with codeine. Sometimes it blurs my vision.

It's really not that bad, but i had to get two shots in my butt (also very painful) when i went there.

The only good thing about this is that i get to miss school.

    Go me.

Heh. Nebulizers are nothin' out of the ordinary for me (I have moderate asthma). Still, that's an overload for bronchitis.

I think the real problem here is that you used the word "quack" to describe a doctor. I haven't heard that in years hahaha...

O.O Probably shouldn't have asked if he had a cute butt Jewpin.

Well, when i was a second grader i had Streptacocus (sp) You know.. the virus that likes to sit on your heart and kill blood cells and other important things in your body.. So i couldn't eat ice-cream for A YEAR!!! ='(

Anyways.. I'v been sick with that virus over a year and it didn't strike me until i started to get some aching in my chest and my mom sent me to the hospital to check me. The found out my virus is active so they gave me a shot on my butt (i couldn't go to the bathroom for an hour) my hand, my leg, and my finger!!

                  Eww and some blood tests.

I still have the virus but this is what he is doing "SLEEPING" yeah thats what they call it.

I hope you feel better, butt shots ache so much... XD

The reason why he probably gave you all of those is because Tuburculosis is commonly mistaken as Bronchitis, and often times TB shows symptoms similar to bronchitis, or no symptoms at all. TB is not a fun disease to get, so be glad you're taking all those meds- better safe than sorry.

Mickey, imagine having two active viruses as the same time. They end up battling each other. Usually end up getting chronic fatigue, achey muscles and a weak immune system.
I have this problem with Epstein Barr and CMV.

This double virus deal is actually more common than most people think. But usually seen in older people. My doctor said I'm the youngest person he'd ever heard of with this. Second youngest being about 22. It seems that the older you are, the longer it takes to get over it. On averager, it takes about 7-12 years to get past it. The 22 year old took 2 years. It's been about a year for me and my doctor recently called to tell me that my antibody levels are down which means I'm getting better.
All it takes is a good antiviral medicine to help your body fight off those viruses.

Oh yeah, shots in the butt hurt like evil. I feel bad for you.

It's not a virus. It's a bacteria. Viruses aren't classified like bacteria. Also, are you sure it was strep? That's also found quite often in the throats of people. Hence "strep throat."

Codeine is a miracle. I had it when I broke my leg. Makes me talk like Ozzy Osbourne. They also had me on morphine and dimural at the time. I was a happy Q.
