I actually liked the director for the third movie a lot more than the one for the first and second one. His image of Hogwarts was very much more similar to how I imagined it to be. I also felt he included more of the story than the first guy did.
I heard they were going to be using different actors for the upcoming movies, seeing as though they're getting to old. Have any of you guys heard that?

Eh... Actually, I didn't really like the third one. The special effects and graphics was excellent, but the plot seemed kind of lacking.
If you watch the deleted scenes, you can see how many tiny yet crucial plot points they left out. It just seems like the new director did exactly the opposite of what the first director wanted. The first director said that, "we could have just taken all the cool stuff and jammed it together without any plot, but we didn't." The third movie, at least to me, views like a bunch of action scenes jammed together.
Of course, I realize that the directors have to work with increasingly longer and longer books and more plot, but that just makes me fear for the quality of this next movie (700-page-book) and the Order of the Phoenix, too (even more pages).
About a year ago, I watched a movie called "The Tenth Kingdom." It rocked, a lot, in a fantasy kind of way. It was also 10 hours long. This allowed the writers to really go to town on making an excellent story. I wish Harry Potter could go this way, as that is the only way it could be decent, but nobody would see a 10 hour movie. That's why the 10th Kingdom was never in theaters...
The only thing I didn't like about the 3rd one was that all the spells looked exactly the spell a big white flash or glowing thing. The need better spells. Otherwise all the movies were decent/good IMO.
