i think it's harder to create quality multi-platform games nearing the end of the hardware cycle. For example, Chaos Theory's levels had to be cut down on the PS2.
ugh! i hate this, of course i had to get a gamecube. a lot the games that come out for the gamecube are crud, and theres this store nearby my home that rents out movies and games, it has about one shelf for gamecube and 8 for playstation 2. and i always see commercials for ps2 games, havent seen one for gamecube in a loooong time... shouldve gotten a ps2, but now i cant spare the money. wow im so uptight about a stupid thing...
i really don't understand why they're releasing it as a ps2 exclusive. I hope sony payed them a butt-load of money, b/c the GC version of SCII sold by far the best, and GC has the least number of consoles on market. so percentage of people who bought the game was extremely high compared to that of PS2...oh, and dante? not that cool IMO...I think Link was pretty much perfectly suited for that role...although dante is a step up from SCII's PS2 exclusive character.
I'll trade you this delicious doorstop for your crummy old danish.
Done, and done.
I can't wait to hear more info on this. I kinda wish it wasn't PS2 exclusive, but beggars can't be choosers. I just hope they get rid of the slowdown that supposedly plagued the PS2 version of SCII. Personally, I own the GCN version.
The leading force behind the game talks about how cool it will be. Instead of having exclusive characters to each console, Namco decided it'd be better if you just designed one yourself.
Tira looks like the best addition so far. Setsuka looks stupid and Zasalamel is a copy off of Astaroth (and his name is really REALLY hard to pronounce).
