Iraq: Too gross for the media?

Here's a few pictures from Iraq that the media feels are too shocking for viewing by the normal American citizen.

Further proof on how corrupt our media really is.

RE: Iraq: Too gross for the media?

Nforcer, thank you so much for showing that. The happiness of the Iraqi people is really understated in today's media. There's only violence and fear still remaining in less than 10% of the country, and that 10% is often drawn out to represent the whole.

You win my Favorite User of the Day award.

You should've watched the WWE Christmas in Iraq edition of SmackDown! a month or so ago.

        Good stuff.
I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.

The first one looks photoshopped (but probably isn't...just some aspects look weird).

Yeah, things are better in some parts of Iraq. But in the parts where there ARE still violence, it's pretty damn heavy. One part of Baghdad is still under insurgent control, and Mosul is a hellhole. Various other places suck shit, too.

I would not like to understate EITHER the successes or failures of the Iraq mission. Sure, some nice things appened but it's sure not over yet!

The majority of the media is dominated by liberal-minded people, which tend to side with the Democratic party, which tends to hate Bush II. It's not surprising they refuse to show some of the good aspects of the Iraq mission.

Also, as a complete side-note, Qreepy's avatar is starting to give me seizures.

Nice job generalizing there, buddy. Let's throw blanket statements on every ideology, why don't we? Who's next in line to get violated by their local priest?

              IMO, go watch Fox sometime.

                Conservatives have: Fox-News.

Liberals have: CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, MSNBC.

Hardly a blanket statement that the majority of the media is dominated by liberals. And considering how much Foxnews gets blasted for being conservative, the liberals have ruined any credibility Fox-News has.

                But nice try, Anti.

Well, I was actually referring to his throwing a blanket statement on liberals in general. The media IS controlled by Liberals. I wasn't refuting that. I was annoyed that people automatically assume you are either completely right or completely left. If you are the latter, you hate bush, if you are the former you like him and that is fact. My dad's been a republican his entire life, and even he can admit the man is a moron.

                  But nice try, Mal.

The media wants us to think the war isn't successful, so they show us the bad stuff. That has made a lot of Americans hate the war. Truth is, we're doing good, and people like that we're doing good. The only reason they have to hate us is 1) if they hated us before or 2) if they were in an area where there's fighting. BUT the only reason there's fighting in those areas is because there are people there attacking us. If a terrorist group lived next door to you and a missile blew up their house and part of yours, you'd be pretty pissed, too. Especially if a friend or family member happened to be in the half that blew up.

Accidents happen, so people get pissed off =\
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

It's nice to see the poor children in Iraq getting better treatment than the poor children of America.
