      That is almost the same set up as my friend. Only he didnt have a midi controller since the Korg doubles as one.

                        The tower took me a pretty penny to put together, but its worth it :P the purple walls werent my choice fyi

                        The 800's i have are a good value, you can do most basic scratch tricks but its not great for more advanced stuff, it just doesnt behave like vinyl.
                        Mixing is easy with them, built in bpm counter, +/- 100% pitch/master tempo shift, and the jog wheel make it really easy to beat match.

                        If you have the cash go with the cdj-1000 mkII's or something of the likes, otherwise the 800 is great.

                          at the time i bought them they were $500 each with 100 dollar rebate. so $800 for a pair of 800's :P

                          the 1000's cost quite a bit more, the mkII's especially, but they are great digital turntables
                          the denons with the active platter are nice too
