Oh good god that was horrible. Please, learn how to make sims before releasing one.

First off, never, ever step live-recorded songs. They don't have a constant BPM. Two, the BPM you made was ridiculously wrong. It should have been around 105, and you had it at 145. Eighth notes sounded like triplets. Finally, the steps were random arrows thrown together. They had no pattern whatsoever.

thats how it was supposed to be if you can hear the are drums in the background of the music and since i didnt want the steos to go with the lyrics i made it go with ALL the drums even the ones you can barely hear the reason I made it a faster BPM cuase all my other song were slow and I wanted to speed this one up a bit and it wasn't a live recorded song ( the lyrics and guitar were) other than that on this song they use the real drummer and the mixer so were would be a constant bpm so sorry that I screwed up everything and it's only my 2nd simfile and it's my best one of the two and I need to get better so I guess I can change the BPM cuase later i was gonna make ver2 with light standard and challenge steps.

Play some other sims in this forum, and learn from them. Don't make an incorrect BPM just because you "wanted to speed this one up a bit".

And learn to type in sentences. That has to be the biggest run-on I've ever seen in my life. O_O

I'm not even downloading it because it's made by Linkin Park and Jay-Z. Enough Said.

RE: Re: RE: NUMB/ENCORE from linkin park and JayZ

gosh darnit guys.... you stole all my creative and witty retorts to this newcomer.

my suggestions (and others, but put together nicely)
                  1. use the correct BPM
                  2. dont step anything that is done live (ANYTHING)
                  3. periods are your friends. women may hate getting them, but you sir... you must learn to use them!
                  4. when stepping a song, it is best not to have "it go with ALL the drums even the ones you can barely hear," as if one can not hear it, how are we supposed to know it is there? will the magical inaudible drum farie grant us the powers to comprehend this canine friendly decibal?
                  5. periods are your friends. i know, i already said this... but i feel it is that important.
                  6. stepping songs you enjoy is perfectly fine, but if you want your files to be played by the FFR masses, it would be advised for you to choose music that is better suited to be stepped. linkin park = too slow to be a difficult song.
                  RIP

id agree with pretty much everything except this point. maybe a better point would be "Dont step anything live/nonconstant bpm UNTIL YOU ARE MORE EXPERIENCED!" cause seriously, live songs can be pretty fun sometimes, but only when done with a little more care than most newbie writers take to their files. in this case though, it certainly applies that he should not step ANYTHING live.

Just to be an ass, Bounce-Connected is live but all those songs are DWI-able.
I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.
