Have any of you heard of the PS2 game FreQuency, or possibly Amplitude? Yeah, well if you haven't you can stop reading now. It would be a waste of your time...unless you are curious. Well, I happen to be a FreQ at heart, and to the FreQ community's dissapointment, Harmonix will not be releasing a FreQ 3 because of the popularity of the series. To some this may not seem like a big deal, but us at the FreQ community are having a hard time dealing with it. Now that they have helped Konami release the Kareoke Revolution series, they practically have a goldmine, and their new release for the eyetoy (AntiGrav) is selling out the wazoo. As a FreQ, I sat down and decided that I would come about bringing the FreQ series back into reality. Of course, so did half the FreQ community. Most of the plans fell through. But recently, there's been a burst of activity and adrenaline in the FreQ community and a new idea has come along. Now comes the part where you guys (as artists of music) come in. This was posted in FreQ Forums at www.freq.com also:

I don't know if we've all given up on FreQ 3...but recently, I thought about how much the series has grown in this town in GA since my arrival in June. To my amazement, it's popularity had grown more than I realized. I came back to the thoughts of a sequal, and the reasons why it's not gonna exist. It dissapointed me, once again, but I began to dwell on those thoughts for quite some time. What else should we try? Selling more copies of Amp and FreQ? More signatures? Both? These thoughts troubled me. Later that day (this was yesterday btw), I sat down at my computer and began to put what was in my mind into notes...revealing one of my best compositions ever(so far at least). O.o;...then it kind of hit me like a brick, thus bringing me to the main idea of this post:

What's Harmonix do? Music. They combine many art forms to create one incredible combination. Why not show them how we feel doing the same? This may sound...odd...but it seems logical to me. What else is there to do? We could always hold everyone for ransom with the price of a new FreQ game, but I'm not gonna be the one to do it. O.O If anyone is with me on this, please read on and reply.
First off, I'd like to thank those who are still reading. Secondly, I'd like to make it known that it doesn't matter what your specific talent is, just make sure that when this project is being constructed, most (if not all) of your inspiration comes from how you feel about the situation. Let it sit in your thoughts for a while, and listen to some good music. ^_^ Oakenfold's always good...but anyways, once you have it situated in your mind, let it drift a little as you begin to create...whatever. Hopefully, this will spur up a nice little fire and get some ears up in Harmonix. Try to make your feelings known...get some lyrics, make a rap song, poem, get a nice vocoder to lay down a robot track, however you wanna go for it. Anything will do. Thanks again for your cooperation, and post here or pm me if you have anything to talk about. Let me know when you finish your project and we'll go from there. ^_^))))

It doesn't matter what you do as an artist, anything will do. Once the project is completed, all the peices will be sent to Harmonix via Overnight UPS (^_^) and we'll all cross our fingers and hope this works...in the meantime, we plan to ransack Harmonix with lots of attention, such as public advertisements and such. Anyone have any more ideas? Check the forum link posted above...some more ideas are in there. :\ Please consider helping if your heart has a spot for this game series.
