          They sound mixed ok, but the notes sound funny. I don't know what it is, but it seems like it may be that the melody is the wrong rhythm. Did you use a midi for it?

              Melody is definitly WRONG. Use a MIDI next time like I told you on AIM. Also, it sounds obviously made in FL. Use more cooler instruments. ALSO it sounds kinda empty. You need more action in the song. Having it that empy is okay for slow songs or creepy music, but the SMB theme is happy and fast. Hence, add more stuff to it.
              So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

              In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

              So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
              And I write the blog for their website.

              Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

                  No, because IMO it would sound to cluttered =/

                  The melody is not wrong. Here I have the sheet music. The first 3 measures are what I remixed...look at the notes:

                          Definitely use a midi next time. That way, you get extra channels of different instruments. Also, eb is right; put more in there.

                          EDIT: I'm listening again, and yes the rhythm is wrong. Can you read that sheet music any deeper than what the notes are?

                                                      yea the remix does sorta suck. but it's really hard to top SMB Dirty Mix ... here's my whack at it < http://bigopinionstudios.com/SMBRemixPWNIFIED.mp3 it's not finished...
