    R2 in the oven?

I remember it seems like a year ago synth had posted "In a month R2 should be done until then I will add a song everyday" I know it wasn't that long ago but anyway he should really put R2 in the Inferno to speed it up man. Does anyone know why it didn't happen that month? I mean is there a reason besides of the crazy amount of work he does. Did he expect it to be ready but had some bugs or anything. Just want to talk about it.

Let's just say a little biridie told me R2 isn't coming out anytime soon.... But that was a little birdie, and what do birds know after all?

First of all it takes a while to code R2...
Second I started all the code from scratch...
Then the graphics need to be there and everything...

So yes it does take a little while to make it happen...Just wait and you will be happy...

There's an alpha version out for staff, but we aren't allowed to comment on features and I wouldn't want to tantalize you anyway. No, do not ask for the link. It still has a ways to go but we're getting there.

So, if an alpha is available, it should be publicly released soon, right?

Chardish I dunno if you could call that an alpha

But then again depends on how many alpha stages you have

              I'd call it an alpha.

Eh, I figure the longer it takes the better it will be right?

I'm not even really expecting it out this year either. Guess I won't be dissapointed this way =p.

It is so Alpha that it is only an Al.

RULE #1 ABOUT R2: DONT TALK ABOUT R2.
RULE #2 ABOUT R2: DONT TALK ABOUT R2
RULE #3 ABOUT R2: STOP RIPPING OFF FIGHT CLUB...IT IS VERY UNORIGINAL.

You guys suck for not telling us. You know, even game developers give screenshots and demos and the like before their games are released...I mean Half-Life 2 presented a demostration of the game's capabilities like what, two years ago at E3?

                      *hint hint*

There was a demo a while back on the main page, but it was taken down after a few days. I wonder why...

The demo was an example of what R2 would be able to do, not of how it would look and feel.

That demo was of the R2 being coded by bprc... The new one was not taken from that because of a couple of reasons...
