Synth was on FFR Chat last night and showed us something form R2. My God. Synth now has been upgraded from Boss to Super FFR God. It will blow you away when you see R2 where it is now. Anyway a little birdie told me that R2 actually is in the oven and is waiting to finish rising.

So out of curiosity, is there any estimated time for its completion or does everyone working on it just hedge and say it'll be ready when it's ready?

R2 will be ready when it's done.
When developing a game, you can always hit snags, which would delay the release date, so many developers don't like giving release dates to get people hopes up.
