    Do all the USA PS1 games really suck that much?!

    I have a "cheap pad" that I am using with SM, and I really want to upgrade now that I'm getting better. Is the Ignition 2.0 really the best pad? I saw one that looked exacly like it but made by konami on DDRFreaks.com. So should I get the Ig2.0??

    Also, The only systems I have are PS1 and Gamecube (Playing Metal Gear Solid: The twin Snakes right now, excellent game) and i want to get an official game for the PS. There were only three American Games, right?

    1.Dance Dance Revolution
    2.DDR Disney Mix
    3.Dance Dance Revolution Konamix

    I've heard that because Konamix is modled after 4th mix that its songs suck, so I have some questions for you.

    Which of the three (two really) Amercian games have the best music? And, if you answered "the first DDR", should I buy Konamix anyway because it has tempo changes and newer features? Or, if you think all of the American games suck, answer the two questions above then tell me which PS1 import mix is most worthy of a purchase [1st-5th Mix]

      Konamix is the best home version available, simply because it has no licensed garbage for the songs.

          Thanks, so should I get the Ignition2.0 too?? And are you sure, because on the Gamespot and IGN reveiw they were like "Konamix is derived from one of the series least inspired mixes, 4th mix, you might as well import 3rd mix this time around". Does it have any of the Max songs or did they start in 6th mix.

              Gamespot and IGN are a bunch of idiots.

              The songs on Konamix are all by in-house Bemani artists, meaning that nearly every song is awesome.

              The MAX series started on DDRMAX.

                  That makes sense about the max songs. :P I'll definitely pick Konamix up.
                  I still want to know if I should get the Ignition2.0, or is there a better pad?(see my post about my finding another extremely similar pad at "ddrfreaks.com")

                      Can't help you on the pad part, except that I would trust RedOctane products a LOT more than I would trust DDRFreak. And if you import a PSX game, import 5th mix, because it was one of the best mixes ever.
