How well does FFR run on a Steam Deck? Has anyone tried it? Is the experience as smooth as one would expect from an average laptop?

Did it lag a lot? I frequently find on my good pc it lags a lot so if all I need to do is play off my deck i could do that

It didn't seem to perform worse than what I am used to. I'd say give it a shot! I used global offset of 4 and had a great time.Comment

Coming in here with a bump to say that most of FFR head staff attempted playing on MarioNintendo's steam deck and it was good enough that it not only single-handedly launched the AnimeNorth account and the SponCon for it, but also resulted in FFR Booth happening without preparation at Anime North 2023.
It runs exceptionally smooth. Better than most computers I'd argue.
