    suggestion: more "genres"/"difficulties"/"song flag" screens on song select?

    some ideas could be like, "favourited songs", or "songs you rated five stars" (so you can keep track of where they are)...

    an idea that i made a very badly-explained thread about two years ago was that when you have made at least one filter, there would be a new song select screen called "filters" that had all your filters and you could see the songs in each filter. the existing icon called "FILTERS" could then just be for creating filters, and then you could see them all at once on this new screen!

    (sorry for making lots of new threads about new ideas, but when i play the game again i like thinking about things like this...! i hope everyone is having a good time playing the game!)

              How would these filters be sorted? Feels like you're looking for a sort option/quick-use function for Filters, but has the chance of getting out of hand quickly without the option of other menu options to allow sorting (like difficulty-based, or genre-based) because they occupy the same area. There's ways to narrow down filtering options via filter and just have different filters for it.

              Also, we'd have to limit the total amount of filters because only so many rows can fit in the area that you are using.

              Also also, we'd have to figure out a way to deal with text wrapping because your sketch accurately describes what would probably happen for titles of filters that are too long. They'd either wrap or become unintelligible.

                  hmm... to tell you the truth, i would be happy if there was just one new screen for "loved/hearted songs". that is often the screen i most want to move in and out of, just "a select few songs i enjoy playing for the sake of it". it just seems obvious that there ought to be a default screen for "favourite songs"...

                  (or maybe an ability to sort the songs by your rating of them? on the search tab there are ways to sort by step author, notes per second, song id... but no personal rating! thats like a standard on music players...)

                  anyway, i'll answer the filter questions:

                  1) it is true that each filter trims down multiple screens, and aren't just simply a cool search option... so i'd probably in addition to the screencap have a toggleable button you could click on the side of each filter that makes the filters turn on and off (for all screens)



                  2) sure (or add a scroll bar or something if there is too many)

                  3) sure (probably people know what their filters are from reading the first line of text though)
