Til Death screams "designed by a programmer" whereas rebirth actually has some pretty nice UI design in a lot of areas. absolutely no contest.
Nothing wrong with liking Til' Death, but Rebirth is designed quite a bit better.

Rebirth is cleaning up the old UI to blend sort of like an arcade DDR, but still giving that raw info that the folks using Etterna are gonna want, and it gives the art in the pack more room to shine
I actually love it because it makes making backgrounds worth it again.

I haven't gotten a chance to fully explore Rebirth but so far I REALLY like it
There was a period where I hated Til Death for how it looked but after switching to 4:3, tinkering with the color config a few times, and adding my own font, I really like Til Death now. However, I can understand why a new Etterna player would hate how the default Til Death looks. Rebirth does a great job at fixing this issue. My only complaint about Rebirth is that when I first saw it on a stream poco was doing a few months ago, it straight up looked like a mobile game, and it still does.
other than that, 4/5. default Til Death is a 2/5dont trust this user at all --------> https://www.twitch.tv/toone156

rebirth is great for new user experience as til death wasn't so great. however since i'm very used to til death, i'm going to stick with it.

Rebirth is much more user-friendly compared to Til' death. But since I'm more used to Rebirth, I'll still use Til' Death.Random Rhythm Game Player in the world of FFR.
