    2020 MLB Season Discussion Thread

    Discuss.
    60 game abbreviated season (thanks COVID~)

    Toronto still can't find a home diamond after getting rejected by the Canadian government, and then by Pittsburgh. Now trying to find one in Baltimore.

    Also, every Yankee and National taking a knee during the national anthem during the season opener was cool.

      For some reason I thought it was going to be longer before it started but this date sure did creep up huh? It's going to be weird without fans. Local sports radio was talking about how no fans might change how players react when they hit home runs or big plays or how players chirp at each other. It's going to be different energy.

      Braves somehow beat the Marlins a couple of days ago after they were down 8-0 or something stupid. I'm hoping that I have an Atlanta team to cheer for after Atlanta United did a heck at the MLS tournament.

                  It's fixed now. No one will ever know~

                  EDIT: Either way, probably will do a thread for all the major leagues (... probably should get on MLS) because SPORTS

                                  i think the phillies may invent new ways to be in last place such as publishing a 30-man roster with 29 players on it when there isn't a reason for the missing slot afaik

                                  also i think pittsburgh might have been happy to host the jays but the state said no

                                      Buffalo, New York will be the new home for the Jays. GL

                                      Good start for my Yankees even with 11Ks against them!
                                      it was urgent because i wanted it fixed fast.

                                                      NBA: We'll have all of our games take place in one location and have a bubble the players can't leave from.

                                                      MLS: We'll do an entire tournament in one location until COVID dies down!

                                                      NHL: We're going to Canada, USA too scary.
