Do you only get FCs if you improve your score on a song on top of having no misses?

    Do you only get FCs if you improve your score on a song on top of having no misses?

    Hi everyone. I'm pretty new to this game, just joined about a month ago, so I apologize for the newbie question if this has been answered before. I've already FCed a handful of songs, but I've played many others with no misses but didn't beat my best score, and I didn't receive an FC for them. Then of course if I play it again with no misses and beat my score, then the FC shows up. Is that just another requirement for FCs that I didn't know about?

          Scores used to be recorded by FC, but it was changed to RAW scoring so if your best is an FC and you beat it with a non fc you lose it. You only keep the FC if your best score has no misses.

                  its true i lost my fc on guitar vs piano today and was a bit bummed!

                      Its going to happen alot as you progress. Ive probably lost nearly 100 fcs but eventually you get most of them back.

                              Probably a thread per month about this, it's one of the most common new player complaints we see. FCs are valuable, nobody likes to lose them. It's like having your college degree taken away because you failed a Sporcle geography quiz 6 years later (dramatization)
