Hello everyone!
It's been quite a while, I have been far too busy to keep FFR a part of my daily routine, but today is a day where I must come back for a moment! Actually, tomorrow is, but I'm gonna be working all night!
So, June 24th is the Quebec National Holiday! In these trying times, it's a little difficult to celebrate with people in real life, as I'm sure our Canadian and American neighbours will concur on July 1st and 4th, respectively, but it's still important to me! =)
SPEAKING OF.
On June 20th, Quebec became its own nation on here! Thanks to a friendly wager between Prawnskunk and xXOpkillerXx of course which involved the latter reaching division 8 (MAD congrats bro, you're the absolute king).
Many may take this as a fun joke, and of course in the grand scheme of things it may not be the most important thing in the universe, but I'll be honest with y'all: it made me really happy. While I understand not absolutely everyone shares the sentiment, independence is something I've longed for my entire life, and every bit of national recognition goes a long way for me! So, it really made my day, especially coming from a community I care so much for.
From the bottom of my heart, I thank the admins responsible for being alright with this (it does mean the world to me!), and I wish everyone on here a fantastic day! =)
