Hello!
I'm excited to announce the private alpha of my untitled, web-based rhythm game! I'm only releasing the game to 5-10 people for now, which is why I call this a private alpha. I'm making this thread to find some of those people over the next few days, who I will refer to from now on as playtesters. Please post in this thread to let me know if you're interested in being a playtester
Q: What do you expect of playtesters?
A: I expect you to play my game when I release new updates, about once every two weeks, and then tell me your opinion on those updates. I also expect you to have some saved .sm and .mp3 files on your computer, since the game expects you to upload your own files. No special skills are required, just an interest in the project. I will communicate with the playtesters through Discord, and host the game on itch.io. You can of course leave the Discord if you lose interest. There's no non-disclosure agreement either - you're not expected to keep the game a secret or anything.
Q: What’s the overall goal of this game?
A: Build a better rhythm gaming experience. Besides that, the initial direction will largely be decided by my playtesters.
Q: How does this project relate to FFR?
A: Short answer: it doesn't. Long answer: about 98% of the work on this project has been my own, and although I'm a member of the FFR development team, I'm working on this for personal reasons, not necessarily as a part of some larger FFR staff initiative. That being said, I'm extremely grateful for all the help and support I've received from staff, and I wouldn't have kept working at this as long as I have if it weren't for their support and advice, especially Zageron. I'm also certainly willing to bring on additional developers, but I don't expect it.

I'm working on one myself and it doesnt overlap with yours, so that's dope~
