          be safe, it sounds absolutely crazy out there

          also we should fund the forest service so they can actually do more preventative things so fewer huge, dangerous fires happen /politics

                                          yeah i'm okay; even inside i can smell the smoke and sulfur (i think)

                                          *edit* i checked my zip code on weatherbug.com and as of now the air quality is still fair in my area

                                          wow, the air quality right now is about the same level as downtown chicago (it's still good though)

                                              I remember a fire happening near my house a couple years ago. It was some old nearly abandoned building and some dumb kids were messing with fireworks supposedly. Not sure if they were ever found. It's the first time I've seen my neighbors outside in a decade. And vice versa.

                                                          i'm monitoring the air quality and mandatory evacuation areas every half hour or so

                                                          *edit* the air quality is much better right now but the wind is expected to get faster tomorrow morning
