People ask why I don’t paint my nails…
I respond with:
1. It’s stereotypical, I’m my own individual female, I don’t have to embody every stereotype and do everything that other females do.
2. I’m a gamer girl, and a really hardcore one at that. It’s impractical for me to have 3 inch nails that are gonna snap right off after a few levels of geometry dash. Even with a controller, it’s still a pain in the ass.
3. It’s a painstaking, long process that just isn’t worth the pay off. I have to spend hours painting them, just to have to either repaint or remove the nail polish when they inevitably grow out more.
So far, I haven’t gotten a single counter argument from cis males or females. I consider this a victory in my book.
