    Maybe I got carpal tunnel

    I've been playing a lot of Call of Duty Infinite Warfare for the past week, and starting last night, to now, my left hand has had a passive pain in it. This has never happened before. Might it be carpal tunnel?

                  A little below the wrist, maybe in the hand, it's quite faint I can't accurately pinpoint

                      Thats how i felt when i came back to fiffer after 3 years. its pretty much gone now though after playing for a couple days.

                          Pretty sure I may have it as well. My right hand tends to get sharp pains randomly - especially if I’m doing any repetitive movement. The problem became slightly worse when I was lifting in December

                              just do some hand and wrist stretches once in a while during gaming sessions. helps out a lot for my wrist pains. as long as you keep tabs on it, you shouldn't get anything too serious.

                                  Agreed. I would have pains after playing Melee, but I don't really play it anymore and now they feel fine and there was no permanent damage.

                                      Rest, ibuprofen, ice if necessary.

                                      If this improves your situation the pain was from inflammation caused by strain likely unrelated to nerve compression (which is what carpal tunnel is).

                                      If the pain is persistent or begins to pair itself with numbness and tingling in your fingers, you should see a doctor.

                                      But based on your description it's not carpal tunnel.
