Description of my day today thus far
I awoke somewhat ready to seize the day, like carpe diem.
My buddy normally has some coffee prepared and I usually have a splash mixed with spring water, but they're out of coffee filters. I'm not that big a fan of coffee anyways, no biggie. Cuppa spring water it is.
So today's the day I gotta make a 3.5 mile walk to GameStop because
The other day I decided to buy a new used (yeah) xbox360 game to wile away some time. On Friday night I made the walk thru a rainstorm while wielding my trusty poncho. Upon entry I was greeted with huzzahs and a 'yo poncho lol' anyways after doing the dance at the pre-owned 360 kiosk and inevitably bending over for 10 minutes browsing I decide upon DragonAgeInquisition. I drop a pile of silver, nickels and dimes, on the counter and receive the instant reply 'you hate me' from my boy behind the desk. Anyways he counts all the change despite my initial 'it's $10'. His coworker chitchats another patron with playful banter about the aesthetics of 'Ocarina' (the legend of Zelda), which eased my mind. Anyways I get home and fire it up only to discover that this game must be installed instead of normal disc play. Oh gosh. I wait until Saturday and walk to the stripmall for a jumpdrive which ran me $7. Eventually I fire it up again to be greeted with a new message that jumpdrive won't do I actually need the 360 hard drive.
Which brings us to today. I phone over to GameStop saying what up and they said it's cool so I go get cash back. I took the $10 and went to FiveBelow, a really neat store, and bought 3 coloring books for a buck each and 2 power ring hand grips for 2.50
Mission success now I'm chilling it's 2:56 pm. I don't know what the rest of the day has in store but I hope it's something worth it.
