This feels like the arc of a predictable yet strangely cult-classic beloved anime:

Middie, antagonist of a bygone season, is reborn with a modicum of self-awareness under the new name XelNya and sent to prove his loyalty to the other Stepmen by fighting against the newest threat, Travis Flesher.
Is Travis Flesher just an expertly-concealed façade, set up by a well-known Stepman to troll FFR? Will Middie prevail in his fight to call out shit files? Find out next episode...
