    So, I decided to challenge myself...

    i decided that, since FFR doesn't have a mode that completely hides notes from a distance up the screen, I'd make my own. I took 4 pieces of A4 paper and stacked them one on top of the other and put them as you see here.



    It hides the notes about 25% of the way up the screen and I'm still decently good. I rank within a couple hundred of my best run at absolute worst. It's a nice challenge and I wish the FFR team would add something like this as well as this version of Sudden mode to the game.

      An adjustable Sudden/Hidden mod seems a good idea.

          Your picture doesn't work, but from how you described it I'm pretty sure this is called screencut

              I'd do worse if it weren't for screencut...I couldn't adjust to the change in vertical playing area from the Velocity to the R^3 engine.

                  The concept is far from new. In fact, players used to hang towels over their monitors or - as you did - stick post-it notes on their monitors.

                      Historically screencut was used by players like Shashakiro back in the day when there was only 1x as a speedmod along with avmisses. Those days were really hard to play this game, haha.

                          Thanks for the tip about my image. I saw that it didn't work, but I had no idea the thing was so big. I had taken it with my phone and couldn't use an editor.
